On Thursday, Wilton plays at Harding, which has gotten off to an 0-7 start under first-year coach Charles Clemons, who took over for the legendary Charles Bentley.
It is a shocking turn of events for one of the state's most stories programs. Under Bentley, who retired at the end of last season, the Presidents won nine state championships and more than 600 games in 34 years.
