The all-towns District One Little League tournament of champions gets away on Monday with Ridgefield National facing Darien American in a first-round game at Aldrich Field (5:45 p.m.)
Quarterfinals in the single elimination event are set for Wednesday, followed by the semifinals on Thursday and the finals on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Norwalk Jaycees won last year's TOC, defeating Rowayton Hose, 4-3.
-- Wilton's Noah Farrell, who rolled to the Class L state tennis title as a freshman, has been named to the All-FCIAC first team, which follows:
SINGLES
Dan Hirschberg, Staples; Noah Farrell, Wilton; Ted Berkowitz, Fairfield Warde; Tyler Kratky, Greenwich; Tommy Inouye, Danbury; and Arnaud Valentin, Ridgefield.
DOUBLES
Patrick Newton, New Canaan; Jacob Reiss, New Canaan; Adam Werner, Fairfield Warde and Kevin Sullivan, Fairfield Warde.
In boys track, Wilton's Ned Hemmerle (pole vault) and Tim Becker (3,200-meter run) earned FCIAC first team honors. Alex Ward (long jump) and Lucas Genovese (pole vault) were named to the second team.
On the girls side, Kafesha Thomas earned first team honors in the 300-meter hurdles. Zoe Gaston (3,200 meters), Sarah Guth (800 meter run and 4 x 800 relay) and Alosha Southern (1,600 meters) were named to the second team
-- The following girls were selected to be part of the Wilton’s Little League District All-Star team in the girls 9-10-year old softball bracket: Hannah Belanger, Brianna Catino, Jayne Guglielmo, Liela Hastings, Manya Jones, Emily Kaufold, Cate McCabe, Julianna Musilli, Kelley Osterberg,Maria Saldutti, Sophia Strazza, Besty Wallace and Molly Ward.
-- The Rolling Hills County Club in Wilton will be the site for the Connecticut Amateur Championship, which starts Monday.
Now in its 109th year, the Connecticut Amateur Championship is the oldest event conducted by the CSGA and is one of the nation’s oldest state amateur golf championships.
After 36 holes of stroke play, the low 32 players qualify for match play. Two rounds of match play each day culminate in a 36-hole final on Thursday to crown the top amateur player in Connecticut.
