A new era in Wilton girls lacrosse officially begins on Monday, when the Warriors begin practice under first-year coach Caitlin Jackson.
A four-time NCAA national champion at Northwestern University, Jackson replaces Cindy Wiseman and Ciara Thurlow, who resigned as the Warriors' co-coaches in September, citing a desire to spend more time with their families.

Wiseman and Thurlow posted a career record of 141-30-3 during their eight years coaching together at Wilton, including an FCIAC championship last season.
In the FCIAC semifinals, the Warriors defeated Darien, 17-16, in triple overtime, their first win over the Blue Wave in five years. Wilton then downed New Canaan in the FCIAC title game.

A native or Norwell, Massachusetts, Jackson graduated from Northwestern in 2010. She spent this past season as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut.
