It was a tough night for the Wilton RE Grasshoppers as they lost a 11-2 decision to the Nelson River Bandits in the Wilton Little League AA. ‏

The River Bandits, led by pitchers Clayton Latone and Chris Khanna,  held the Wilton RE bats in check most of the night,  allowing only two runs.

The River Bandits supported the excellent pitching with consistent hitting by batters Ronk, Daher, Wu and Fahri along with sound fielding all around.

There were, however, bright spots for the Grasshoppers as Trevor Cameron and John Erardi pitched well.  Solid hitting was provided by Nick Sylvia and Devin Filaski.
