KC Moss won two events as the Wilton girls swimming team finished third in the state Open meet Saturday at Yale University with 371 points.
The Warriors placed behind Greenwich (480), which won its seventh consecutive Open title, and New Canaan (431.5).

Moss won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:04.34 and also took the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.96). She joined Ledyard's Jessica Hespeler (200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle) as the only swimmers to finish first in two individual events.

Wilton teams split a pair of championship games Saturday in the Fairfield County Football League playoffs.
The Wilton fifth grade Blue team defeated New Canaan Red 22-6 while the Wilton Black sixth grade squad dropped a 12-0 decision to Fairfield Red.
The fifth grade Blue squad finished the season with a 10-1 record, including a 3-0 mark in the playoffs.
Wilton teams were declared co-champions on the third- and fourth-grade levels, where no championship games were conducted.
