The Wilton fifth grade Blue football team defeated Darien Wave 21-6 on Sunday.
Wilton opened the scoring with a TD run by Tyler Previte. After big hits and strong defense by Malcolm MacGregor, Jonny Wu, Jiffy Lesica and Nicholas Koenigsberger, Wilton took over again and quarterback Kyle Phillips hit Dean DiNanno for a 24-yard TD. Billy Ronk ran in for the two- point conversion.

The offensive line, led by Jack Ferguson, Joe Seaman, Ben Grass, Matt King, Max Colburn, and Matt Graham, continued to make big blocks in the second half, and Wilton extended its lead on another TD by Previte.
Second half highlights included a big hit by Richard Nolan and strong defensive play by Andrew Santacroce and Liam Jenkins.

Thomas Costello's run and several handoffs from Ethan Masek to Cole Barnes chewed up the clock in the fourth quarter on route to the team’s third victory.
