Barring a major surprise, the Wilton football team will be 3-0 shortly after 8 p.m. on Friday.
The quick-starting Warriors host winless Bassick (6 p.m.), which has had a rough go of things under first-year coach Derrick Lewis.

In their first two games against New Canaan (49-6) and Greenwich (49-8), the Lions have been outscored by a combined margin of 98-14.
Wilton followed up a season-opening 33-20 win over Bridgeport Central with a 41-14 victory over St. Joseph last week. So far, the Warriors have shown a potent offense that is averaging 37 points per game.

Wilton's attack also has been balanced, as it is averaging 160 yards passing and 182 yards rushing per game. Senior quarterback Sean Carroll has passed for 320 yards and five TDs.
Carroll has accounted for more than 500 yards of total offense as he also has rushed for 202 yards and three scores on 27 carries. Running back Travis Stella has carried a team-high 31 times for 130 yards and one TD.
Alex Ward has been a big play receiver for Wilton with eight catches for 181 yards (22.6 average) and four TDS.
Defensively, linebacker Connor Devane leads the way with 26 tackles, including 13 solo stops.
