Wilton Seniors Get Privilege Early this Year

Two factors contributed to seniors being given the privilege early this year.

Wilton High School seniors are being allowed to use Senior Privilege after the first quarter this year.

According to the Wilton Bulletin, the privilege that allows students to leave enter and leave campus during lunch blocks is typically a second semester privilege. Principal Robert O’ Donnell told the paper that students deserve the trust and as many students go out for senior internships after mid-May they don’t have as much time to take advantage of the privilege.

Students must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA to take advantage of the privilege along with no credit loss for the first quarter, a clear discipline record and a responsibility waiver and permission slip signed by a parent.

Students must maintain these conditions to continue participating, the paper reports. The privilege can be revoked if it is found that it is being abused.
