Wilton's Joseph Fraccaroli is the 10th seed in the 285-pound weight class in this weekend's state Open wrestling championships in New Haven.
The competition is set for Friday and Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

First- and second-round matches will be contested on Friday starting at 4 p.m. After they have been completed, the consolation bouts get under way around 8 p.m.
On Saturday, the quarterfinal and second-round consolation matches begin at 10:15 a.m. They will be followed by the consolation quarterfinals and championship semifinals as wrestling continues through the day.

The finals are set to be begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. with champions to be crowned in each weight class.

On Monday, the boys hockey team suffered a 7-1 defeat to New Canaan.
The loss put a damper and what had been a strong finish for the Warriors, who recovered from an 0-7 start to end the regular season at 10-10 after winning 10 of their final 13 games.
Wilton will get another chance to beat New Canaan when the teams meet in the FCIAC's tier one playoffs on Saturday. The FCIAC has not announced the starting times for the game.
New Canaan, which has won the last two FCIAC titles, completed the regular season at 12-7-1. In Monday's meeting, Matt Kobyra scored Wilton's only goal in the third period after the Rams had built a 7-1.
In Saturday's other first-round game, No. 3 seed St. Joseph takes on No. 6 Trinity Catholic. Darien and Ridgefield received byes.
Darien, the top seed, will take on the New Canaan-Wilton winner while Ridgfield, the No. 2 seed, awaits the St. Joseph-Trinity Catholic winner.
