The Trinity Catholic boys basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class L state tournament Wednesday with a 71-51 victory over FCIAC rival
The seventh-seeded Crusaders improved to 19-6 and will face No. 2 seed Career Magnet in the quarterfinals on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Career Magnet, which defeated previously unbeaten Hillhouse in the SCC finals, advanced with a 53-48 victory over Wilbur Cross. The Panthers improved to 23-2.
