Wilton Superintendent Plans Parent Meeting After Arrest of Teacher's Aide on Child Porn Charges
Meeting is planned for Monday, Aug. 25.

Wilton’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kevin Smith told parents Thursday in a letter that a special meeting is scheduled on Monday, Aug. 25 to discuss the situation regarding the former preschool paraprofessional who was arrested Wednesday for possession of child pornography.
In his letter Dr. Smith stated there were two charges against the former teacher, Eric Von Kohorn, 33, of Bridgeport. Von Kohorn worked at Wilton Preschool and has been under investigation since June of 2014. Upon learning of the investigation by Wilton Police, Dr. Smith stated Von Kohorn was immediately placed on administrative leave and not permitted to return to school grounds. Von Kohorn resigned on June 16, 2014.
Von Kohorn was one of six people arrested during a statewide investigation, according to WFSB News.
