Wilton Warriors Boys Lacrosse Preview
Head Coach John Wiseman and Assistant Coach Steve Pearsall head a team with high aspirations.
Head Coach John Wiseman and Assistant Coach Steve Pearsall are set to lead the Willton Warriors Boys Lacrosse team, who last year appeared in the Connecticut State Championship game, losing to Darien High School.
According to Coach John Wiseman, a former Wilton High School All-American himself, this team has the potential to repeat last year's success.
"Though we lost a couple of our top guys, captain's John Andrews', Joe Reardon's and Chris Kachadoorian's leadership will help us overcome these obtacles," Wiseman said.

He believes Wilton's strength is its midfield longpolemen, including Connor Melillo and Mike Serpa. Wilton also has a talented goaltending duo in Sam Sommers and Devon Jeffries.
Wiseman is still working on coordinating his attackers and working players into new roles on the attack. Team Manager Tim Maher and midfielder Matt Dunn stated that Wilton has two solid middy lines, but both Maher and Dunn will probably miss the season because of separated shoulders suffered this winter. Maher's occurred while playing hockey for Wilton.

Wilton plays 12 games in its season, including four non-conference games. The non-conference games include Yorktown, Ridgefield, St. Anthony's and Barlow. Barlow in Reading is just starting to establish its Lacrosse program and is hoping to build a rivalry with Wilton. Coach Wiseman stated that Wilton's main competition will come from state champion Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich and Ridgefield.
