Wiltonian Purchases $4 Million Sports Business
The News-Times reports a large acquisition involving a Wilton resident.

Lower Fairfield County is already home to some outstanding lacrosse programs. Now, it may well be the home of one of the largest online equipment retailers for the sport.
The News-Times is reporting that Wilton resident John Arrix has parternered with New Jersey financier George West to buy Lax.com, an ecommerce Web site that sells lacrosse equipment to the tune of around $4 million annually, or 40 percent of the $100 million industry's $10 million online market.
Arrix said he has plans to move the business from its New Jersey location to somewhere in Fairfield County when the building's lease expires.
