Wilton's Boucher Congratulates Foley and Urges Common Goal
State. Sen. Toni Boucher urges all Republicans to unite toward common goal of restoring Connecticut's vitality.

(Wilton, August 14) -- State Senator Toni Boucher offered her congratulations to Tom Foley on his victory in yesterday’s Republican gubernatorial primary as well as a word of thanks to his opponent, Senator John McKinney, for having conducted a clean, well-messaged campaign.
In her remarks, she urged all Republicans, with the primary now behind us, to unite toward the common goal of restoring Connecticut’s vitality.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to Tom and Leslie Foley, our Republican candidate for Governor and First Lady of Connecticut,” Senator Boucher remarked.

“Senator John McKinney showed the best side of our party and was a true gentleman in sincerely wishing Tom great success and pledging his 100% support and efforts to help turn our state around and bring our economy back. We all have this goal and it can be accomplished when we all unite and work together... and we WILL!” she added.
Senator Boucher (R-26th) represents Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport and Wilton. She is chief deputy minority leader in the Senate as well as ranking member of the General Assembly’s Education, Higher Education and Transportation Committees as well as a member of the Revenue & Bonding Committees.
