Here's how to apply (ctmirror.org) — Windham-area veterans can now ride local Windham Region Transit District buses for free through a new statewide pass program, as long as they apply online and verify their veteran status. Passes cover specific routes for 30 or 31 days, must be renewed monthly, and are mailed to the address provided, with options available even for veterans lacking current ID or permanent housing.
