WINDSOR, CT — A public meeting Tuesday evening will give residents and business owners a chance to hear more about what is ahead for downtown Windsor.

Patrick McMahon, the Town of Windsor’s economic development director, is among the scheduled guest speakers.

In an email Tuesday morning, McMahon said his focus will be “more broadly on downtown Windsor projects, business development, events and other Windsor Center initiatives.”

MORE NORTHERN CT NEWS:

The event announcement invites community members, business owners, property owners and residents to hear updates on projects and developments in Windsor Center. Organizers said additional local leaders and guests are also expected to take part.

The meeting is not expected to focus specifically on the Broad Street road diet or traffic-calming debate, based on McMahon’s email. Instead, the discussion is expected to cover broader downtown activity and future planning.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is free, but organizers requested RSVPs because of limited space.

The event will be held behind Founders Square at 150 Broad St.
