Free Day at Landfill

Free day at the landfill this Saturday, May 12, at the landfill, 500 Huckleberry Road. The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Windsor and Bloomfield residents can enjoy free dumping privileges.  

Bring those waste items usually accepted including household garbage, scrap metal, used motor oil, batteries, brush, leaves and wood products. Due to the popularity of this event, expect to experience a delay, so please be patient.

Free dumping privileges are for Windsor and Bloomfield residents only.  Commercial vehicles will be scaled and charged as usual. A valid Windsor or Bloomfield driver's license for residency verification will be needed on hand. Items not free of charge include are mattresses and tires.  In addition, recyclables are not included as part of this event and will be collected at curbside as usual.
