GFWC Windsor Woman's Club Holding Annual Mums Sale

The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club is accepting orders for its annual Mums Sale. Orders can be made until Aug. 25.

The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club Annual Mums Sale is a sure sign that fall is just around the corner. This year you can order CT-grown mum plants for the bargain price of three 9” plants for $18.00. As always, the monies raised goes back into the community.

The GFWC Windsor Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC, started in New York in 1890, is an organization dedicated to community improvement through volunteering.

To purchase and also schedule a pickup time for your mum plants, please call 860-688-4816 or 860-729-5665; if you prefer to correspond by email, please use tgconroy@hotmail.com or awc762@hotmail.com. Please include your color choice, which we will endeavor to honor. Friday, September 5th is the pickup date. If you are unable to schedule a pickup time for this date, we will also be on the town green, Saturday, September 6th from 9am-2pm; by the eagle statue (in front of the library).
GFWC WWC is open to women of all ages and meets the second Tuesday of each month, September through April at LP Wilson Community Center.
