New Ambulances Begin Rolling Out For Windsor EMS After Nearly Two-Year Wait
The first of five new ambulances is now in service, with the rest expected to follow in the coming weeks.

WINDSOR, CT — After nearly two years of waiting, Windsor Emergency Medical Services has officially taken delivery of a long-awaited new fleet of ambulances, with the first unit already entering service.
According to Windsor EMS, all five new ambulances have arrived and are now in the final stages of radio installation, equipment setup, and required state inspections. The first ambulance was placed into service today, while the remaining units are expected to be rolled out over the next couple of weeks.

Windsor EMS credited the Town of Windsor for its support in securing the new vehicles, noting that the investment helps ensure crews have the tools they need to respond safely and effectively to emergencies.
