The Windsor Independent Town Committee requests a Special Meeting of the Town Council be called as soon as possible to decide on budget cuts instead of waiting for the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting on June 17th.This would allow the Board of Education to finalize its budget on June 18th and give voters ample time to learn about the new budget and decide how to vote. We believe transparancy is the most important part of the political process. The WITC looks forward to working with the Town Council and the Board of Education to finalize the budget before the third budget referendum.
