The Budget and our options.

I will make apparently a simple yet bold factual statement.  The Democratic majority has presented 3 budgets that have been roundly defeated at the ballot box.  The majority does not believe in "shared sacrifice".  They increased school spending after reducing the Town side budget by $250K.  How is that a shared sacrifice?  The voters rejected that budget.

All cuts should be made based on 2/3rds BoE and 1/3rd Town reduction formula.  The BoE represents at least 2/3rds of the Town's budget, and the Town side is 1/3rd.  That is fair shared sacrifice.

I believe and we know the Town Council has to bring the budget in with a ZERO % TAX increase.
