• Road Repairs, Upgrades Underway In Windsor Locks (patch.com) — Drivers in Windsor Locks can expect ongoing road and drainage work this season on South Street, Briarcliff Drive, Druid Street and several other local roads, with ADA sidewalk upgrades and manhole resets included. The town also highlights a separate, state-funded South Main Street project tied to Hartford Line rail improvements, urging motorists to slow down and follow work zone signs around Windsor Locks.    

• Two arrested in Windsor Locks burglary, third suspect sought (newportdispatch.com) — Police in Windsor Locks arrested two men and are seeking a third after an early-morning burglary at a vacant South Center Street home where copper piping was removed, flooding the basement and damaging the furnace. Officers recovered burglary tools and drug paraphernalia, and the fire department responded to shut off water and limit further damage.
