Broad Brook Man Arrested on Marijuana Charges in South Windsor
Officers detected the odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle after pulling the man over for a violation.

A Broad Brook man was arrested on marijuana charges after a motor vehicle stop Tuesday in South Windsor.
Jacob Osborn, 19, of 14 Wesley Rd. in Broad Brook, was pulled over on Sullivan Avenue for a violation and the officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located a bag containing a half pound of marijuana, numerous pipes with marijuana residue and burnt marijuana cigarettes, according to police.

Osborn was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana (more than 4 ounces), possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Osborn was later released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on May 6.
