Child Porn Suspect Taken Into Custody in East Windsor
State Police and East Windsor Police arrested the wanted man on Thursday morning.
Connecticut State Police and East Windsor Police took a man wanted on child pornography charges into custody on Thursday morning.
Tyler Kozak, 21, who was taken into custody at 11 a.m., was staying at the Carousel Apartments in East Windsor, according to East Windsor Police.
Kozak is currently in the custody of the Connecticut State Police and is being held on a $75,000 surety bond.

State Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Kozak on Sept. 9 and requested help from the public in locating him on Wednesday.
Police said the investigation began on April 23 when detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Hartford Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant at 110 South St. in Hartford as part of an on-going child pornography investigation.

State Police detectives initiated the investigation after receiving information that the accused, Kozak (a.k.a. Tyler Elster-Kozak), shared a link containing visual depictions of suspected child pornography, according to police.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant from superior court.
Upon conducting the search, detectives seized laptop computers, memory devices, a cell phone, tablet and 8mm tape, according to police.
Police said that during the forensic examinations of the seized items numerous Images and videos of suspected child pornography were located.
Detectives then obtained an arrest warrant for Kozak on charges possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance.
After Kozak was taken into custody, State Police thanked the public for its assistance, posting “Once again, information from you, the public, has helped us locate the wanted individual, Tyler Kozak,” on its Facebook page.
