Crews Respond to 30-Foot Brush Fire in East Windsor

Officials say the fire may have been caused by a lit cigarette thrown from a vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to a brush fire Tuesday morning that was possibly caused by a lit cigarette thrown from a vehicle, according to officials.

The Warehouse Point Fire Department extinguished the 30-foot in diameter brush fire near 102 Prospect Hill Road.

East Windsor Police said the quick response by WHPFD was key in controlling the fire.
