East Windsor Police Blotter: Road Rage, DUI Arrests

The following information has been provided by the East Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Recent activity by the East Windsor Police Department:

• Midnight shift responded to Sunoco Gas Station for a male asleep behind the wheel with the vehicle running. An investigation revealed the male to have used heroin and consumed alcohol on this evening. Erik Wilson, 27, was arrested for DUI and Narcotic Possession.
• -Residents are reporting scam phone calls in which they are advised they won a cash prize and only needed to send a fee before they obtained their prize. Common scam - hang up and don’t send money.
• -Deborah Goodwin, age 54, was arrested on a warrant for an incident that occurred in July. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. Goodwin, an employee of Rite Aide at the time, entered the store after hours and stole cash from the safe and various merchandise. Goodwin is scheduled to appear in court on 10/20/15.
• -Day shift responded to a road rage incident in Sofia’s Plaza. The dispute was over parking spaces. Joseph Hayden, age 38, was issued a misdemeanor summons for Breach of Peace.
• -Evening shift responded to a fight in the parking lot at King’s Wine & Liquors. The fight was between former friends and alcohol was involved. Craig Burns, age 45, and Antonio Tedeschi, age 38, were arrested for Breach of Peace. Minor injuries to both.
• -Day shift responded to a second road rage incident at Lincoln Tech which involved a minor motor vehicle accident. After the accident one of the operators got out and punched the other in the face. Stephen Dente, age 25, was arrested for third-degree assault and breach of peace.
