East Windsor Police Charge Two in Drug Deal

Police say they have increased patrols around local businesses.

East Windsor Police arrested two Bloomfield men after allegedly witnessing a drug deal in the Wendy’s parking lot on Friday evening.

Police said they have increased patrols around local businesses after receiving numerous complaints of drug dealing and quality of life issues in the town of East Windsor.

At about 5:30 p.m. on Friday, officers on patrol observed what they believed to be a hand-to-hand drug transaction taking place in the parking lot of Wendy’s, 45 Prospect Hill Road. Officers conducted an investigative stop of the individuals involved and found crack cocaine and cash.

Trevino Archer (left), 20 of Bloomfield, and Howard Blair, 19 also of Bloomfield, were arrested and charged with illegal possession of narcotic, illegal sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Blair and Archer received a $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
