Police have received complaints from residents about an increase in activity on the weekends.

East Windsor police posted the following message to residents regarding an increase in noise complaints due to dirt bikes and ATVs:
We want to address the on-going noise complaints due to dirt bikes and ATVs. We are aware there is an increase in activity on the weekends in the area of Plantation Road/Rye Street/Wapping Road which may be affecting the quality of life of some residents. We remind residents to call the police department when the bikes and ATVs are causing the problem so we can better handle the situation. We will continue to enforce laws/ordinances to the best of our ability with the sometimes limited resources we have to access the area they are being operated on.
The department’s non-emergency phone number is (860) 292-8240.
