Northern Connecticut Vegetarians’ Potluck with Nancy Correa

From the Northern CT Vegetarian Society:

Oct 16, Sunday, 4:30 PM Join Northern Connecticut Vegetarians’ Potluck with Nancy Correa, as the featured presenter.  Nancy is a Nationally Certified Chinese Herbologist.  She will speak on utilizing save herbs for the good of the body and to improve our wellbeing. Nancy Correa, NCCH, was prompted to study Traditional Chinese Medicine when Benjamin, her canine family member, became ill.  Nancy has been a vegan and nonhuman animal rights activist for many years and has now extended this into her herbal therapy practice, Tristan’s Flowing Qi Herbs. No herbal formulas containing animal remains are used in treatment.  Her area of concentration is nonhuman animal herbal therapy as well as vegans who may wish to balance their body as prescribed by centuries old Taoist philosophy. Nancy will provide a free tongue diagnosis after her introduction to Chinese Herbology.  Bring a healthy vegan dish to share along with a note card listing your recipe and your name.  Also, please bring your place setting (plate, cup, and utensils).  A donation of $7 per adult is requested to help pay for the space, the website, and other costs.  Children are free.  The Carniglia Senior Center, 41 Oak Street, Windsor Locks, CT, is the location for this event.   For more information, telephone Harry at (860) 623-8082 or email Harry at veggyharry@aol.com .
