The dog's owner has not come forward, and police are seeking contact information of people who may be interested in adopting her.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - The East Windsor Police Department is seeking to find the owner of an adult female dog currently at its animal shelter.

According to a post on the department's Facebook page, the 12-year-old dog was found on North Main Street earlier this week, and police believe she may have been abandoned.

"If an owner does not come forward by Wednesday, we will need to adopt her out," police said.
