Jet Fuel Spills at Bradley International Airport: Report
Emergency crews responded to the airport Wednesday afternoon.

A large amount of jet fuel spilled from a pipeline at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports the westbound lanes of Schoephoester Road were closed while emergency crews respond for the cleanup effort.
About 2,500 gallons of fuel filled a valve pit on Schoephoester Road, which caused the pit to overflow and fuel bubbled up over the pavement and flowed along the curb for about an eighth of a mile, according to NBC.

State DEEP officials told NBC that no waterways or catch basins were affected in the spill.
