Man Hit, Choked Girlfriend: Windsor Locks Police

Police recently arrested the man after responding to a domestic violence assault.

Windsor Locks Police recently arrested a man accused of hitting and choking his girlfriend in a domestic violence assault.

Police arrested Dylan Ravlin after responding to a report of an altercation between a man and a woman at a Spring Street residence on Nov. 14.

The victim told police that she had been in a fight with her boyfriend, Ravlin, and he struck her several times with his hands and choked her before she attempted to escape and fend him off.

Police said the victim’s injuries were visible.

Ravlin fled to an upstairs apartment and locked himself in, according to police.

Police said entry was gained and Ravlin was arrested.

Ravlin was arrested on charges of third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation. He was held on a $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 16.
