Pair Arrested in Windsor Locks Narcotic Bust

A woman was taken into custody last week, and a companion turned himself in to police Wednesday.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Execution of a search-and-seizure warrant last week at a Windsor Locks residence led to the subsequent arrests of two people.

On Aug. 4, the North Central Regional Narcotics Task Force served the warrant at 350 North Street, and seized thousands of illegal prescription pills, more than two pounds of marijuana and over $10,000 in cash.

The narcotics carry a street value of about $50,000, police said.

Christine Miles, 57, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and failure to keep narcotics in original container.

Bond was set at $300,000; at her arraignment, bond was increased to $400,000. She remains in custody.

Around 6 a.m. Wednesday, a second suspect from that residence turned himself in to police on an active arrest warrant.

Oscar Montoya, 60, was charged with the same offenses and was held on a $300,000.00 surety bond. He was slated to be arraigned in Enfield Superior Court later Wednesday
