• Firestone Auto Center Approved For Vacant Windsor Locks Bank Site (patch.com) — Windsor Locks residents could soon see a long-vacant former bank near Route 75 transformed into a Firestone auto service center, following unanimous Planning and Zoning Commission approval. The project includes an eight-bay shop, new driveway access, indoor tire storage with sprinklers, and conditions on drainage and lighting, though state permitting may delay construction until spring 2027.
