• Fallen Avon Deputy Fire Chief Immortalized At CT Firefighters Memorial (patch.com) — A longtime Avon deputy fire chief was recently honored at the Connecticut Fallen Firefighters Memorial on the Connecticut Fire Academy grounds in Windsor Locks, where his name was added alongside other fallen firefighters. Local departments from Avon and nearby towns gathered Sunday to recognize his decades of service, training leadership, and dedication to the fire service across Connecticut.
