UPDATE: Pedestrian Identified in Fatal Windsor Locks Accident
The woman was reportedly struck by an Uber driver who was carrying a passenger to Bradley International Airport.

Police have identified the victim as Chantel Lynch, 68, of Windsor Locks, according to the Hartford Courant.

A woman who was struck by a vehicle on Route 75 in Windsor Locks on Sunday night has died, according to police.
Windsor Locks Police received numerous 911 calls at about 7:50 reporting a victim lying on the road on Route 75 near the Shell Gas Station.

Officers and medics arrived on scene to find a female victim lying in the roadway after being struck by a vehicle traveling south on Ella Grasso, according to police.
Medics, along with the assistance of one of a Windsor Locks patrol officer performed CPR on the victim at the scene and while en route to St. Francis Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Hartford Courant reports the woman was in her late 60s and was struck by an Uber driver, who was carrying a passenger to Bradley International Airport.
The driver stopped and remained on the scene and has been cooperating with police. The driver was brought to an area hospital to be evaluated, according to the Courant.
Police said the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad was called in per standard procedures and responded accordingly.
Windsor Locks Police has an officer assigned to the unit and they will assume investigative responsibilities.
The woman has not yet been identified by police and the case remains under investigation.
