Reader's Choice Winner: Daley's Florist & Country Expressions

When people want to buy flowers in Windsor Locks and East Windsor, , is one their favorite places to go, and the overwhelming winner in this week’s Readers Choice poll.

Open for more than 50 years, this floral and gift shop was opened at its new location in Windsor Locks in 1992. Providing bridal and funeral flower service, and delivery for 9 different towns, this shop also carries wood carvings, plants, home decor, glassware, jewelry, costum silks and more, including a large selection of Willow Angels.

“Daley's Florist's arrangements are always fresh, excellent designs. They always stand by their work,” Barbara Aspinwall said.

Two people, Paul Anderson and Marie Groves, nominated Broad Brook Gardens in South Windsor. Unfortunately, no votes were received in the poll.

“When I want flowers I always see Bob Muska at Broad Brook Gardens, 938 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor CT 06074, (860) 432-8900,” Anderson said.  “I've known Bob for many years and find him to be an excellent person to do business with. There is nothing better than dealing with the same people every time you visit.”
