Police said the mother left with no clothes and has no money. She may also be suffering from depression.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - Police have issued a silver alert for a mother and son last seen Saturday at the Mill Pond Village Apartment Complex in East Windsor.

The mother, Alexandria Smith, is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket, blue jeans and tan boots. Police say Smith has her 1-year-old son Logan with her.

Logan has black hair and brown eyes and weighs 20 pounds. He is approximately 2-feet tall and was last seen wearing a blue jacket and a blue hat.

“We are concerned for Alexandria’s welfare. Alexandria left her apartment with no clothing for herself or Logan and has no money or transportation. Family reported that Alexandria does not know anyone in the area and may be suffering from depression. Alexandria was scheduled to be in New York with her mother but her mother has not heard from her,” police said in a statement.

“Further investigation has revealed Alexandria and her son took a taxi from Mill Pond Village Saturday under a false name. We have ruled out foul play and believe Alexandria left completely on her own accord. The cab transported the pair to Union Station in Hartford. We still need to check the welfare of both due to the family’s concern and would like to be contacted if anyone knows where she traveled to or her whereabouts,” police said in an update.
