Windsor Locks Community Fund at Greater Hartford Gives Seeks New Members

Are you interested in helping support the Windsor Locks Community Fund?

Windsor Locks Community Fund at Greater Hartford Gives needs volunteers like you who are passionate about our community.

The Windsor Locks Community Fund was formed in 2021 as an initiative of the Great Hartford Gives Foundation. Since then, we have funded over $40,000 per year to a diverse array of Windsor Locks 501c3 nonprofit organizations. 2025 grant recipients included Aces High Robotics, Arts for Learning Connecticut, Windsor Locks Lions, Windsor Locks Scouts BSA Troop 243, Special Olympics CT, and more. Each one of the grants will have a positive impact on our community.

The Community Fund is dedicated to creating a group that is inclusive, representative, and reflective of all of the residents of the community. Windsor Locks residents who wish to play a leading role in the Community Fund in 2026 and beyond are invited to volunteer.

Members of the Fund must be over 14 years of age, not an elected official, and residents of Windsor Locks. Members are expected to attend one Zoom meeting per month, and should be willing to work on committee projects between meetings.
