Windsor Locks, East Windsor Police Join Narcotics Task Force

The local departments will be joined by Enfield and Suffield police as part of the newly formed North Central Narcotic Task Force.

The Windsor Locks and East Windsor Police departments will be part of the newly formed North Central Narcotic Task Force, which also includes officers from Enfield and Suffield.

We are proud to announce that we will be a part of the newly formed North Central Narcotic Task Force. One officer from EWPD will be assigned full time to the task force, which includes officers from Enfield Police Department, Windsor Locks Police Department and Suffield Police Department.

The task force will be responsible for the cooperative enforcement of the laws of the State of Connecticut concerning the manufacture, distribution, sale and possession of narcotics and controlled substances. Enforcement will not be the only objective as the task force will also work in conjunction with the North Central Opioid Addiction Task Force to get drug users help in their battle with addiction.
