Windsor Locks Police Interrupt Burglary-in-Progress, Arrest Town Man
The suspect was found hiding under a truck at Fox Hill Automotive early Thursday morning.
Windsor Locks police interrupted a burglary-in-progress early this morning at Fox Hill Automotive and apprehended the suspect after finding him hiding under a truck.
Police responded to the report of a burglary-in-progress at 6:03 a.m. on Thursday morning at 466 Spring Street.
Police said the suspect, later identified as John Frabrizi Jr., was surprised when the complainant arrived and ran back inside the business in an attempt to elude police and avoid capture.

Officers cautiously entered the building and conducted a search of its interior.
Ultimately, officers closed in on Frabrizi, 55, and found him hiding underneath a truck that was inside the building. Officers initiated the arrest and Frabrizi was taken into custody without incident.

Police said that money stolen from the cash drawer was recovered at the scene. Frabrizi was in possession of burglar tools and had forcibly entered the building, according to police.
Frabrizi, of 94 North Main Street in Windsor Locks, was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglar tools.
He was held on a $10,000 bond and is due in court on May 5.
