Windsor Locks Police Make DUI Arrests
Police recently announced the arrests of six people on DUI charges in separate incidents.
Windsor Locks Police recently charged six people with driving under the influence in separate incidents.
- Lauren Buika was arrested Jan. 8 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, drugs or both and reckless driving. Police said a motor vehicle accident investigation led to her arrest. She was due in court on Jan. 19 to answer to the charges.
- Timothy Ferguson, 27, of Enfield, was arrested Jan. 7 on a charge of driving under the influence.
- Cheyanne Easter was arrested on Jan. 3 following a motor vehicle stop and charged with traveling unreasonably fast, operating under the influence and possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana.

- Kirsten Hernandez was arrested at 2:55 a.m. on Jan. 1 on a charge of driving under the influence following a motor vehicle accident investigation on Old County Road, according to police.
- Stephen J. Pequita, of Montemerlo Drive, was arrested at 3 a.m. on Dec. 30 after a citizen called police to report a possible impaired driver speeding and swerving in a reckless manner. Officers located the vehicle and observed various vehicular violations committed by the suspect, who eventually pulled over for police and was identified as Pequita. He was arrested on charges of reckless driving and operating under the influence.
