Windsor Locks Police Seeking Assault Suspect

A convicted felon is wanted on a warrant in connection with a serious assault case, according to police.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Police are searching for a convicted felon who allegedly seriously assaulted his girlfriend at her workplace, resulting in head trauma that required emergency surgery.

Clinton Weston, 23, who police say has a history of violence and weapons charges, is wanted on a warrant charging him with second-degree assault, and carrying a $75,000 bond.

Police said late in the morning of April 20, Weston engaged in an argument with the woman at her place of employment on Route 75. The altercation became physical, and Weston allegedly struck the woman in the face, causing her to fall and strike her head on an adjacent vehicle. Weston then fled the scene in the woman's vehicle, which was later located by East Hartford police.

The woman was transported to a hospital, where she underwent surgery to address complications from head trauma.

Weston is described as a black male, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 180 lbs. He is believed to have ties to Hartford and East Hartford, police said.

New Britain police also have an active warrant for his arrest on forgery charges.
