Windsor Locks Woman Charged With Burglary
She allegedly entered a former partner's home through a window, according to a police report.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - Police arrested a local woman early Sunday morning after she allegedly broke into a West Street home.
Kimberly Williams, 52, of 25 Quail Court, was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and failure to keep narcotics in original container. She was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
According to a police report, around 1:33 a.m., officers responded to 38 West Street on a report of an unwanted female. When police arrived, they were told by the occupants of the residence that they were asleep and were awoken by Williams standing in their bedroom and was refusing to leave.

Police learned that Williams and one of the occupants of the home had previously been in a dating relationship, the report said.
Police found an open kitchen window and a damaged window blind. A chair was also found on the outside of the house where Williams entered the home, according to the report.

At her arraignment Monday in Enfield Superior Court, the burglary charge was changed from first to second-degree. She is scheduled to return to court June 8.
