Windsor Locks Woman Seeks $1 Million in U.S. Postal Service Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

The woman claims she was sexually harassed by her former boyfriend, who was her supervisor in the office where she worked.

A Windsor Locks woman is seeking $1 million in damages in a lawsuit filed against the U.S. Postal Service, claiming she was sexually harassed by her former boyfriend, who was her supervisor in the office where she worked, according to the Connecticut Law Tribune.

The CT Law Tribune reports Maria Rosario, a Postal Service driver since July 2012, had an ongoing relationship with William Rodriguez, the acting manager of transportation who is married, and when she broke it off, he allegedly “became exceedingly angry and began harassing her and making things extremely difficult for her in the workplace.”

Rosario also named Jeff Curenton, a transportation supervisor for the Postal Service, in the lawsuit and claimed he was aware of the alleged sexual harassment and even took part in it, alleging that he “constantly would scrutinize her private parts while she is in the workplace, as well as menacingly follow her throughout the building,” according to the CT Law Tribune.
