Agriscience High Schools Seek to Expand in State

Regional agriscience high schools, such as , are seeking state support to expand and hire more teachers.
An article in the Hartford Courant said 3,000 students are currently enrolled in regional agriscience high schools in Connecticut, but 1,100 were on their waiting lists and the state agriculture industry has 5,800 job openings it cannot fill with skilled workers.
