American Idol Fans Take Note: Katie Stevens Comes Home to Sing

Former Middlebury resident Katie Stevens will sing at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd., Uncasville.

Stevens will sign autographs at 2:45 p.m. There is no cost to attend the performance and signing event.

According to Stevens' website, she said she will be at Mohegan Sun for two days: Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22 and 23. The casino can be reached at 1-888-226-7711.

In 2010, Stevens was part of American Idol: Season Nine. She made it to eighth place.

Now, Stevens lives in Los Angeles and according to her Twitter account, spends a great deal of her time in acting classes. Fellow American Idol contestant Andrew Garcia recently posted a YouTube video of himself and Stevens singing "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato.
