Antique Auctioneer Hosted Father's Day Auction and Barbecue

The Woodbury event offered many rare items by Alexander Calder and other famous artists and well known designers.

 

in , which , held a Father’s Day barbecue on June 17 in conjunction with its third anniversary Spring Fine Estates auction that featured many interesting collectible pieces.

According to ACN, Auction Central News, tops lots of the sale included sterling silver jewelry by sculptor Alexander Calder, whose workshop was in Roxbury, painted metal and brass serpentine lighting by French designer Jean Royere, and a rare, original Art Nouveau-style bronze Porter garden telescope designed by Russell W. Porter.
