April Readings from the Archives of the Gunn Historical Museum
'Growing up On a Connecticut Farm in the Early 1900s'

On Monday, April 3 at 10 a.m. there will be a program called “Readings from the Archives of the Gunn Historical Museum”. A reading of the paper, Growing up On a Connecticut Farm in the Early 1900s, written by Robert Whitehead, will take place at theWashington Senior Center. Robert was born in 1915 in Washington, CT and in addition to life on the farm his paper recounts home life, school days, the neighborhood, entertainment, celebrations, town stores, friends, World War Two, and more.
Readings from the Archives of the Gunn Museum meets the first Monday of the months of October, January and April at 10 a.m. at the Washington Senior Center. Museum staff present a paper about the history of Washington from the museum's archive, related photos and artifacts from the museum are displayed and a discussion follows. This event is free and open to the public. The Washington Senior Center is located in Bryan Hall Plaza in the center of Washington Depot.
