Good News Café’s next craft beer & burgers event Sept. 29 will feature the beers of Brass Works Brewing Company of Waterbury.
No bottles or cans this time, just gorgeous pints poured from casks to accompany Carole’s Zeeburgers, with members of the Brass Works team on hand to mingle and talk about their beers and the taproom and brewery on Thomaston Avenue.
After a tasting at the taproom with Brass Works’ owners, three beers were chosen that perfectly pair with the burgers: Brass Nail Session IPA, Abel Porter and this year's just-released Oktoberfest.
